Welcome to Aerobot 2.0, where innovation meets expertise. My name is Simon Jardine, and I am the founder and driving force behind this journey. From pioneering the drone industry in 2004 with eyeinthesky.com.au to expanding globally with Aerobot.com.au, I’ve dedicated my life to advancing aerial robotics and unmanned systems.
With over two decades of experience, I’ve collaborated with some of the biggest names in media and exploration, including Channel Ten, Top Gear, National Geographic, and projects like mapping an active volcano. My designs have supported critical missions for special forces worldwide, combining cutting-edge technology with unmatched reliability.
As a leader in the drone industry, I’ve also played a pivotal role in training and standardizing manufacturing practices for CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) and worked alongside renowned innovators like Phil Presgrave and Simon Denby. For 15 years, I focused on designing and building drones for specialized applications, from defense operations to groundbreaking commercial ventures.
Our mission at Aerobot 2.0 is simple: to empower exploration, innovation, and creativity through robust and user-friendly aerial platforms. Whether you’re capturing cinematic moments, tackling industrial challenges, or venturing into uncharted territories, our technology is designed to elevate your possibilities.
At Aerobot, innovation has always been at the forefront of our journey. One of our proudest milestones was the development of the dodecacopter with a unique ring design. This groundbreaking aerial platform was engineered for unparalleled stability, heavy payload capacity, and resilience in challenging environments.
The ring structure not only streamlined aerodynamics but also provided a protective barrier for the rotors, making it ideal for missions in harsh and unpredictable conditions. From carrying advanced camera systems for National Geographic to supporting military-grade operations, the dodecacopter exemplified what’s possible when design meets purpose.
The First Waterproof Quadcopter
At Aerobot, we didn’t just aim to fly—we aimed to conquer the elements. One of our proudest achievements was engineering the world’s first waterproof quadcopter, a game-changing innovation that expanded the boundaries of what drones could do.
Unveiled in [YEAR], this robust platform was designed to thrive in environments where water posed a significant challenge. Whether launching from a boat, operating in torrential rain, or performing water rescue missions, this drone redefined versatility. Its fully sealed electronics, buoyant design, and corrosion-resistant components ensured reliable performance even in the harshest conditions.
The waterproof quadcopter caught the attention of explorers, media, and adventurers alike. It was used in critical applications ranging from marine research to challenging outdoor productions. This groundbreaking technology demonstrated Aerobot’s unwavering commitment to innovation and problem-solving in the field of unmanned aerial systems.
